Valdese sweeps Ray Childers

Valdese- For the second time this season at Joe Temple Field, the Valdese youth football teams completed a three-game sweep this time against Ray Childers.

Pony: Valdese 14, Ray Childers 0

Preston Radabaugh ran for two touchdowns from 65 and 56 yards to lead the opening win in the pony division.

Radabaugh also added a tackle for loss along with Braydon Suttles (3) and Gaige Deal to lead Valdese (3-1) defensively.

Mustang: Valdese 36, Ray Childers 0

Four different players scored touchdown runs for Valdese (2-1) including Bryson Linebarger (34, 42), Lathan McManus (20), Chris Dishman (18), and Kam O'Dell (10).

O'Dell and Bryson Maynor each recovered a fumble with Dishman recording a tackle for loss.

Bronco: Valdese 36, Ray Childers 0

D'andre Moore ran for three touchdowns from 53, 43, and 21 yards to jumpstart the Tigers (4-0) to a win in the final game of the day.

Henry Cooper (25) and Devin "Tank" Wright (41) also reached the endzone with Wright adding a fumble recovery.
