Icard- The East Burke Middle School football team completed their season Wednesday with a 24-12 win over East McDowell.
The win for the Raiders ends the season with a 4-3 overall mark, 3-3 in the Foothills Athletic Conference, and a two-game winning streak.
"I feel good about our season," said EBMS head football coach Mitchell McGuire. "We improved our record and overall standing in the conference from last season."
The Raiders are currently fourth in the FAC standings but could finish in a tie for third with a Heritage win over Walter Johnson next week.
Jacob Dellinger again led the East Burke offense with 224 rushing yards and three touchdowns with Levi Coble adding 78 rushing yardage.
KJ Byrd scored on a six-yard touchdown run as Danny Powell (sack, forced fumble), Jesus Becerra (fumble recovery), and Hayden Parker (sack) led defensively.
