The Cavaliers fell behind 21-7 at the halftime break to visiting West Iredell but was able to cut the lead down to 29-20 off two Josh Moore touchdowns.
The Warriors ultimately took advantage of East Burke miscues, injuries, and penalties winning 43-20.
The Cavaliers and Warriors now join Bunker Hill, 14-12 winners over Foard, in a tie for third place (1-1) in the NWFAC standings behind Draughn (3-0) and Hibriten (2-0).
Moore, rushing for 128 yards on 20 carries, first scored for EB (2-4 overall) on a second quarter five yard run.
After West Iredell opened third quarter scoring on a nine yard touchdown pass, Seth Pruitt was able to find Moore on a streak down the Warriors sideline for a 56 yard touchdown pass.
EB got the ball back again off a lost West Iredell fumble recovered by Cody Huffman, the Cavs went on a nine play drive ending with a nine yard touchdown run by Moore.
West Iredell responded to get another touchdown pass on the scoreboard and EB couldn't get much going for the rest of the contest only crossing midfield once with losing a fumble.
Pruitt and Brett Childers combined for 133 passing yards and were both banged up with undisclosed injuries.
Luke Coble led EB receiving with 73 yards on five catches.
Raelen Lo (sack) and Noah Rooks led defensively with two tackles for loss each with Coble (TFL, pass breakup), Huffman (fumble recovery), Dawson Langley (sack), and Logan Johnson (pass breakup) assisting.
EB hits the road next Friday to face county rival Patton.
