Morganton- The East Burke football team got behind Friday night at Patton by 22 points leading to a 49-21 road loss marking four consecutive losses to the Panthers.
Senior running back Josh Moore scored all three touchdowns for the Cavaliers (2-5, 1-2 NWFAC) from 3, 35, and 3 yards.
Moore finished with 101 rushing yards on 18 carries to pass Robbie McGee as the all-time leader in career rushing yards at EBHS (2,910).
"Gotta thank God once again for another accomplishment, also gotta thank the offensive line they solid dudes," said Moore on his Instagram account.
The Cavaliers are back home next Friday vs. Bunker Hill in the Cavs Kickin' Cancer game.
