The Cavaliers opened with a 33-31 loss to the War Eagles and followed with a 64-53 win over the Vikings.
"We played hard with Davie and played tired with Avery, it's just classic preseason basketball," said East Burke head coach Jerome Ramsey, entering his seventh season at the helm.
Cam Propst posted 13 points in the scrimmage game with Davie County with Micah Chrisco and Landon Yarborough adding five.
Chrisco and Logan Shuford (2 points) were key rebounders for the Cavs with Shuford, Yarborough, Aasin Lor, and Luke Coble making steals.
Chrisco was one of the leading performers in the Avery County scrimmage game recording five steals and three assists to go with his four total points.
